The East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner, who is also the chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, has issued an advisory restricting the movement of heavy motor vehicles from the Lumshnong to Malidor stretch along the National Highway 6 from 9 am to 3 pm (Monday to Saturday).
The restriction is to allow successful repair works along the stretch.
