The East Khasi Hills district administration has notified the hotels in which entrants into Meghalaya can opt to stay in while waiting for their Covid-19 test results.
Only three hotels have been notified – Hotel Assembly, Hotel Barbareek and Hotel Embassy.
As part of stricter Covid-19 guidelines, returnees and visitors to the state (from outside the North East) will be tested by RT-PCR at entry points unless they have been tested within 72 hours before entering Meghalaya. They will have to stay in paid quarantine facilities until their test results are declared.
