The East Jaiñtia Adventure, Culture and Tourism Society, Khliehriat West village has been authorised by the district administration to facilitate/guide tourists from outside the state and country in adventure tourism.
The terms and conditions have been laid down for the society to ensure the safety of tourists, assist tourists with special needs, senior citizens and children who visit the district.
President of the society, Chibor Wahlang informed that besides providing up-to-date information based on facts, topography and terrain the society will also shape the attitude of respect for nature and cultural heritage amongst tourists.
