A 47-year-old man identified as Deepak Daimary who reportedly fell ill at the outpatient department of Khliehriat Civil Hospital on March 23 passed away the next day.
The person was alone when he was admitted at the hospital. Doctors confirmed his death was due to respiratory failure.
The deceased is from the Nepali community living in Ladrymbai OP and IC Umpleng AD Camp, a press release said.
Authorities have urged the family members to take custody of his body.
