The District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills, at the request of the Joint Secretary and Returning Officer for the Dolloiship election under the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council, has ordered that March 22, 23 and 25 will be dry days in Nartiang elaka and Shangpung elaka.
Voting will be held on March 22 and 23, with counting on March 25.
All IMFL licensed premises (wholesale and retail) bars, canteen, country spirit shops in the entire area of Nartiang elaka and Shangpung elaka shall remain closed on these dates.
