The East Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed all the cement plants in the district to comply with out deviation the fares fixed by the Regional Transport Authorities.
According to a press release today, the Deputy Commissioner said that as per the order from the State government for heavy and medium goods vehicles (diesel), the minimum revised fare for black top road is Rs 7 per MT per Km whereas the maximum revised fare is Rs 11 per MT per Km.
For graveled top road, the minimum revised fare is Rs 8 per MT per Km and the maximum revised fare is Rs 12 per MT per Km.
The minimum revised fare for Kutcha road has been fixed at a minimum of Rs 10 per MT per Km and at a maximum of Rs 14 per MT per Km.
The order will come into force with immediate effect.
