Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong today laid the foundation stone for the upgrade of Tyrsad Health Sub-Centre to Primary Health Centre in the presence of local MLA Eugeneson Lyngdoh and local MDC Lamphrang Blah.
Speaking on the occasion, Tynsong stated that people of the area will be able to access better healthcare facilities once the upgrades are complete.
He also stated that the government is identifying villages that lack basic health amenities and is in the process of setting up sub-centres, PHCs and CHCs for better deliveries of health services in rural areas.
