Shillong, Apr 12: A high-level development programme (HDLP) visit was conducted in Marakapara village in South West Garo Hills with officials assessing government service delivery and engaging with locals.
The team included officials from Rerapara block and representatives from various departments. They briefed villagers on various schemes and interacted with villagers, encouraging feedback. A performance review followed, assessing service delivery through beneficiary feedback. The team then conducted home visits to identify vulnerable households and extend support.
The visit aimed to strengthen grassroots implementation of government programmes and enhance outreach of essential services in the village.
