A decomposed body of a man was found in a farmland in Disong village near Mawmerang under South West Khasi Hills district.
The body was spotted by boys tending to cows yesterday, police said.
During enquiry police found a Covid vaccination certificate by the name of 30-year old Bishal Gurung from the body.
Police said a case has been registered and investigation is on.
