Shillong, Feb 25: A dead fetus was found lying at Madanrting, Block-F near brown gate, police said today.
The gruesome discovery was made on February 18 at around 6 pm.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem in a hue & cry notice said the newly born baby (fetus) seemed to have been brought by street dogs.
He said the fetus has been kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claim after the post mortem examination.
