A highly decomposed dead body of a man was found hanging on a tree at Putimari jungle near the Damring River in North Garo Hills.
Superintendent of Police, Bruno A Sangma said the body was discovered on August 30 and they have been unable to get the identity of the deceased as no one has come forward to claim it.
The person measures 5.7 feet and was wearing black round neck t-shirt and black underwear.
