Midfielder from Umlyngka, Damaitphang Lyngdoh has inked a two-year contract with the Shillong Lajong Football Club, following his successful stint with the Bengaluru FC.
The 19-year old player had represented Meghalaya in the Sub-Junior National Football Championship before joining Bengaluru in 2017.
During his tenure with Bengaluru FC, Lyngdoh achieved remarkable success by becoming a two-time champion of the Reliance Foundation Development League in the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons. He was also awarded the prestigious title of “2020/2021 Upcoming Player of the Season” as part of the BFC Club Awards.
