The 67th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under its civic action programme held an event in collaboration with the Vivekananda Cultural Centre.
The programme included the installation of RO plant, distribution of medical equipments to the Ramakrishna Mission charitable dispensary and mobile dispensary, solar lamps to the Seng Bhalang LP School, career counselling, pre-recruitment training/coaching and vocational training to 40 students of Vivekananda Cultural Center.
The installations were inaugurated CRPF commandant Alok Bhattacharya in the presence of Swami Divyaswarupanandaji Maharaj, in-charge Vivekananda Cultural Center and others.
Bhattacharya expressed his gratitude to the Vivekananda Cultural Center for the support in carrying out the programme. He also reiterated the resolve of CRPF to continuously strive to serve the people of the country. He also urged the local youngsters to join the elite force and be a part of the national mainstream.
