Cabinet Minister and government spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh has criticised the movement to ban cow slaughter labelling the demand, “heights of stupidity”.
According to Lyngdoh, no sane person would advocate that somebody should follow his eating or food habits. “I will not try to convince others to live the way I live my life,” he said.
Lyngdoh said if anyone has the freedom to partake any edible items, so do others have the freedom to not eat.
He said “this is the height of the inability of the human mind to expand. The thinking process has not grown.”
