A further four new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Meghalaya today. There were also 10 recoveries and no new fatalities.
Three of the new infections were reported in East Khasi Hills (all in Lama Villa) and one in South West Garo Hills.
Five of the recoveries were in West Jaiñtia Hills, three in East Khasi Hills and two in East Jaiñtia Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 13,727 Covid-19 cases, of which 122 are active, 13,459 have recovered and 146 have died from the virus. The recovery rate is 98.05 percent. The fatality rate is 1.06 percent.
The Health Department also informed that around 1,260 Covid tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.
