The East Khasi Hills district magistrate has declared the house of Solinda Challam and Amelia Rymbai at Qualapatty as micro-containment areas so as to restrict unregulated entry and exit on the sites due to detection of positive Covid-19 on Saturday.
Based on the contact tracing status and testing of the high risk contacts and the reports received, the district magistrate has lifted the containment for the compound of Phulbari MLA S.G Esmatur, Satbas Cottage at Nongrimmaw Block-B, House of Neelam Gaur at Goenka Compound, Mawlonghat, House of Nausib Rai at Lower Maxwelton Estate, House of Verlette Marbaniang, Bishnupur, Near Sunny Girls Hostel, the top floor of the Building of Mildalin Mawiong, Bishnupur, Old Kench’s Trace, Near Surbathiang, the entire J.B Textile Building, Police Bazar, house of D. Lyngdoh Nongpiur, Lawsohtun Block 6, house of B. L. Nongpiur, Madan Laban (Rum), Shillong and the quarter occupied by the Pharmacist, D. Pakyntein within the compound of Laban State Dispensary.
