Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will attend a programme to dispose of seized drugs in East Jaintia Hills tomorrow.
The seized contraband items will be incinerated at the Star Cement factory in Lumshnong.
Meanwhile, the East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner has issued a public notice that individuals intending to operate a drone or use a helipad within the district have to mandatorily obtain permission from the office.
The notice said that in view of the Chief Minister’s visit, applications for permission to operate a drone or use a helipad on January 23 will not be entertained but have to reapply for a different date.
