The Seng Kur Warjri has endeavoured to diversify its operations through the setting up of units across the state and the confirmation ceremony of the Siejiong unit at Mawkasiang was held on July 17.
Altogether, 31 units are geared up for the silver jubilee celebration culminating at Mawphlang.
The confirmation ceremony was conducted by general secretary Sunshine Warjri in the presence of other senior members of the clan, including president George Warjri, advisers P Barkos O Warjri and Rudy Warjri, and other central body representatives.
The newly elected office bearers of the Siejiong unit of Seng Kur Warjri are president Donbor Warjri, vice-presidents John Shemphang Warjri and Sharina Warjri, secretary Selius Warjri, assistant secretaries Bapyndapbiang Warjri and Kong Alferine Warjri, treasurer Barisha Warjri, publicity secretary Filbert Warjri, and adviser Hording Warjri as Adviser.
