The East Jaiñtia Hills District Level Chief Minister’s Inter-School Athletic Meet 2023 began in Teilang Playground at Dkhiah today.
The meet is organised by the district sports office in collaboration with the East Jaiñtia District Sports Association.
Deputy Commissioner Abhilash Baranwal graced the opening ceremony as chief guest.
Thirty schools from within the district are participating in the three-day sport event. There are 3 categories-U-14 years, U-16 years and U-18 years boys and girls.
District Sports Officer S. M. Rapsang, members of the sports association also attended the opening ceremony.
