The meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) to settle the calendar for the State Assembly’s 2024 budget session has been rescheduled for February 1 at 4:30pm.
The budget session will begin on February 16 and the calendar for the session is decided by the BAC. Its meeting had originally been scheduled for February 2.
The meeting will be chaired by Assembly Speaker Thomas A Sangma in his office and will be attended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prestone Tynsong, leader of the opposition Ronnie V Lyngdoh, Charles Pyngrope and Lahkmen Rymbui.
