The Guwahati bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal will hold a circuit court in Shillong from May 1 to 3.
The tribunal is meant to adjudicate disputes and complaints with respect to recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed to public services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union or other authorities under the control of the government.
Judicial member Urmita Datta (Sen) and administrative member Sumeet Jerath will hold the circuit court at the courtroom of the Meghalaya Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission’s administrative building in Lower Lachumiere here from 10:30am onwards.
All cases pertaining to Meghalaya will be taken up during the circuit bench sitting. Advocates appearing for their parties and the parties in person are requested to appear before the circuit sitting of the tribunal, a press release stated today.
