Miscreants broke into the office of the Block Development Office, Mawkyrwat C&RD block and stole money.
Late reports here today said that the incident happened in the wee hours of June 13.
The miscreants broke into the office located at Mawlangwir by breaking the lock and fled with Rs 1.73 lakh. The discovery was made known only at 9:30 am when the block officer, I. Lawrynñiang went to the office.
A FIR has been lodged and police are investigating into the case.
