A bust of former cabinet minister Robert G Lyngdoh was unveiled yesterday on what would have been his 65th birthday.
Lyngdoh, who hailed from a prominent political family, was also known as a keen musician and also served as the Vice-Chancellor of Martin Luther Christian University. He died in July 2022.
The bust was unveiled by his family, artists from Riti Academy and members of the Meghalaya Tourism Development Forum (of which Lyngdoh had been chairman).
Those who spoke at the event included Raymus Wahlang, Raphael Warjri and Sonny L Khyriem.
