The 193 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya, as part of its Civic Action Programme distributed essential items to community centres of the border villages in Purnagar, East Khasi Hills today.
The programme was inaugurated by the oldest lady of Purnanagar village in the presence of Commandant of 193 Bn Rajiv Kumar.
While essential items were distributed to the community centres of Betgora, Khaikona, Purnanagar and Badrup villages, computers, desks, and sports items were distributed to school students to support their academic upliftment and overall development.
The distribution took place in the presence of school teachers, headmen, and nearby villagers.
