The 43rd Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya organised a free medical camp today along the international border in South Garo Hills.
Doctors of the BSF and Rongra Primary Health Centre gave free consultation to the patients and also distributed free medicines.
Besides this, the BSF also distributed computers, furniture and sports items to schools and youths. Other useful items like CGI sheets and water storage tanks were also distributed among the needy people of the bordering villages of Baghmara, Bhawanipur, Phanda, Rongra, etc.
