The Hynñiewtrep Border Dispute Redressal Forum has called a public rally on matters related to the inter-state border issue between Meghalaya and Assam, particularly on the demand to re-transfer the Block 1 and 2 areas.
The forum said the public rally will be held on May 3 from Lad Kiang Nangbah Government College through the main road of Jowai to the District Library Mynthong at 12:30 pm to be followed by a meeting.
The forum has invited citizens to the state to attend the rally and urged participants to maintain law and order.
