Meanwhile, earlier in the day, tourist taxi drivers under the banner of the Jowai Shillong Guwahati Tourist Cab Association (JSGTCA) urged police to catch the killer/s of Fullmoon Kharsahnoh, another tourist taxi driver who was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Mynkre, East Jaiñtia Hills, last week.
The 33-year-old driver, from Larnai, West Jaiñtia Hills, went missing on August 16 while on his way from Shillong to Jowai. Eyewitnesses claimed to have seen Kharsahnoh’s tourist taxi (ML 04 D 1113) being driven by another person near Lumshnong.
Today a rally was held against the murder of Kharsahnoh by members of the JSGTCA demanding that police catch the guilty.
