The State BJP has said that almost 2000 people including local leaders in Resubelpara today joined its fold and have reposed confidence in the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to change their lives for the better.
In a statement released today, the BJP said local leaders like Marak (ex-Org. Secretary VPP), Nokmahs, village sardars, lecturers, grass root NPP supporters and youth leaders were welcome by Assam BJP media convenor, Rupam Goswami, National Council Member – Rikman Momin, ex-NPP MLA -Benedic R. Marak, MDC and State Vice President – Bernard Marak, ex-CEM – Dipul Marak, MDC -Dharmonath Sangma, and District Presidents among others.
Goswami stated that the BJP would start working towards upliftment of the people. He assured that very soon Garo Hills will experience the same development that many other states under BJP governments are experiencing.
Rikman promised the people that vision of the Prime for Meghalaya would be fully and speedily implemented in the state after elections.
Bernard said the next BJP-led government in Meghalaya will fight and root out corruption from the state and ensure that every penny meant for the people reaches them.
