Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, a national leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), embarked on an official visit to Nongpoh today as part of the celebration marking the nine-year tenure of the BJP government at the Centre.
A party meeting was held here, attended by state BJP leaders and dedicated party workers from Ri-Bhoi. Jaiswal, from Bihar, took the opportunity to engage with party workers and discuss the supposed accomplishments during the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
During an interaction with the media, Jaiswal highlighted what he described as transformative changes brought about by the BJP government in various sectors, including infrastructure development, economic growth, foreign policy, health, skill development and youth empowerment.
