Two suspected motorbike thieves, Barabor Namsaw and Khraw Shylla were arrested yesterday by police. Namsaw is suspected to have been involved in the petrol pump heist in Shillong in November last year which netted Rs 2 lakh for the robbers.
Namsaw, alias Kyrshan Makri, had been arrested on March 7 but escaped the following day from police custody.
Namsaw and Shylla were arrested in Nongmynsong. Another person suspected of the petrol pump heist, Bhaijan Warbah, had also been arrested on March 7.
