The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has reminded all beneficiaries identified under NFSA having PHH and AAY Ration Card under the district, that the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution has stressed on the mandatory linkage of Aadhaar with Ration Card (PHH and AAY).
The DC (Supply) has urged beneficiaries to complete the e-KYC exercise through e-POS machines available in all the Fair Price Shops on or before March 25 March to avoid the risk of reduction in coverage of beneficiaries due to non-compliance.
