Basketball and Tennis tournaments are being organised at the newly constructed courts at the Raj Bhavan here.
Initiated by Governor Brig. (Retd.) B.D Mishra, the tournaments began today, a press release from the Raj Bavan said.
In the Men’s Category, eight teams are taking part in the Basketball tournament while two teams are taking part in the women’s category.
In the Tennis tournament a total of 14 participants are taking part in the competition.
Umroi Military Station defeated Assam Rifles in a well matched game, the release said.
