To raise awareness about the increasing threat of cyber crime, an awareness programme was organised today by the District Legal Service Authority of West Jaintia Hills in collaboration with Jowai police.
The speakers emphasised the need for individuals to be cautious while engaging with online platforms and urged them to report cybercrimes without any hesitation. Practical tips were shared to help participants safeguard their personal data. Students were also informed about common types of cybercrime to help them recognise and avoid potential threats.
