Arunachal Pradesh cabinet minister Tage Taki has urged the centre to set up modern animal disease diagnostic center in the North East to detect exotic animal diseases at the early stage and prevent loss of animals.
In the face of African Swine Fever disease that killed thousands of pigs in the region, he said the existing facilities do not cater to the emerging needs of the region.
