Four recruitment rallies for Agniveers have so far been conducted for Nagaland, Meghalaya and Upper and Central Assam and the response has been “very positive and encouraging.”
This was stated in a defence press release today.
Agniveer recruitment for Mizoram will begin in Aizawl on October 4. Registrations and applications for this rally have already been completed and over 3,800 candidates have applied. Following this rally, the candidates of the first four rallies will be appearing for their written exam (CEE) at their designated locations.
Fresh recruitment for Soldier Nursing Assistant and Soldier Nursing Assistant (Veterinary) has also been scheduled for January 2023. Notification for the rally has been uploaded on the website of the Indian Army (www.joinindianarmy.nic.in). Applications will be open from October 1 to 30.
The Indian Army has granted relaxation of two years with regards to the upper age limit for candidates. Recruitment for this category will be as regular soldiers as per existing terms and conditions of the Indian Army.
All the candidates were once again advised to beware of touts who make false promises and extort money from them. The recruitment is a fair and transparent process and no person can influence the outcome, the release added.
