To celebrate Independence Day and to mark the assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven, two books were released by the Archbishop of Shillong, Most Rev. Victor Lyngdoh.
One of the books titled in Khasi, “Ka Ïiengkyntang Jngoh Pilkrim bad ka Jingleh riewblei ïa ka Dohnud Bakhuid Tam u Jisu” was written by by Fr. Augustine Benvitason Khrawlang Warbah about the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Another authored by Fr. Breson Paul Ranee titled, “Ka Duriaw Galilea” is about all the things related to the Sea of Galilee in Israel.
Speaking at a function held at the Sacred Heart Shrine, Nongmensong the archbishop praised the two priests of the Archdiocese who have authored a number of books in the past. These books are available at Pauline Books & Media Centre, Laitumkhrah and Nongmensong Parish.
