Amended draft electoral rolls have been prepared for several constituencies in East Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills and are available for inspection, it was informed today.
The constituencies are Mawryngkneng, Pynthorumkhrah, Mawlai, East Shillong, North Shillong, West Shillong, South Shillong, Mylliem, Nongthymmai, Nongkrem, Sohiong, Mawphlang, Mawsynram, Pynursla, Mawkynrew, Mairang and Mawthadraishan.
In South West Khasi Hills, the constituencies are Ranikor and Mawkyrwat.
The list of amendments to the draft electoral rolls has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2025 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules 1960. A copy of the list of amendments has been published and is available for inspection at the office of the relevant Electoral Registration Officer during office hours.
