Air Marshal SP Dharkar Air Officer Commanding-in Chief, Eastern Air Command is on a two day familiarisation visit to Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati.
He was received by Air Commodore AtulSaggar, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Borjhar yesterday.
The Air Marshal was briefed on the operational, maintenance and administrative preparedness of the Station. He also visited various units and sections of the Station and interacted with the personnel of the Station.
In his address, he impressed upon all personnel the importance of being conversant with their roles in operations and being confident in operating aircraft and systems. He reviewed the Station’s operational preparedness and appreciated the personnel for the good work undertaken by them at this base.
