Shillong Lajong FC will play their next I-League 2024-25 match on Saturday at home against Namdhari FC at 7pm at the SSA Stadium in Polo.
After playing four consecutive matches away from home, Lajong are now back on home turf and will face current table toppers Namdhari. SLFC lost two, won one and drew one of those four matches on the road.
In today’s pre-match press conference, Lajong coach Jose Carlos Rodriguez Hevia said that he is excited to be back with the club’s supporters. Lajong’s most recent match saw them lose 2-0 to Real Kashmir in Srinagar on February 2.
SLFC are currently eighth in the standings after Dempo SC beat Inter Kashi FC 2-0 today. However, Lajong, who have 16 points compared to Dempo’s 17, could retake that position tomorrow.
