Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today inaugurated the first Albera Choir Competition and Food Fest at Sawmer.
Organised by Seng Rangbah Katholik, as part of its Silver Jubilee Celebration at Don Bosco Sunny Side, the competition saw the participation of choirs from various parishes.
Earlier, the chief minister also interacted with the members of the Dorbar Shnong, Women’s Organisation and Seng Samla of Sawmer.
During the interaction the residents of the locality highlighted various issues of the locality. He said that the interaction is a reflection of the government’s commitment of engagement at the grassroots level and assured that the needs and demands of the residents will be looked into.
