The District Executive Force of East Jaiñtia Hills seized 2,800 bottles of phensedyl cough syrup from an abandoned chicken coop at Pynurkba village on Sunday morning.
Acting on a tip-off, the DEF was able to seize the items and a suo moto case has been filed at Ladrymbai police outpost to take the investigation forward.
