The Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer of East Khasi Hills has directed all the managers/proprietors of hotels, guesthouses, etc in the district who have yet to register their user IDs for submission of reports on the online C Form (C-FRO) to visit the SP-FRO office in Shillong to complete the process.
Those who have registered their user IDs should submit the relevant report within 24 hours of the arrival of foreigners in their respective establishments.
Any infringement/violation could lead to legal action against the hotels/guesthouses and the foreigners themselves under the Foreigners Act 1946.
