A conglomeration of pressure groups from the Selsella area have written to the Chief Minister setting a deadline of three weeks for the government to fulfil various demands, ranging from road repairs to the installation of an ATM.
The Selsella-Balachanda Road is in urgent need of repairs and has been a longstanding demand of the community. “The lack of response and action from the concerned authorities reflects a disregard for the well-being and development of our community,” the letter to the CM stated.
An ATM is also required in the State Bank of India branch in Selsella, with this demand having been made since as early as 2021.
The letter serving the 21-day deadline was dated yesterday. Failure to meet the deadline would see the pressure groups resort to “democratic means of indefinite protest”.
