In view of the adverse weather condition in the State, the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has postponed undergraduate theory examinations for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce students scheduled for tomorrow across all affiliated colleges.
The theory examinations that have been postponed are those for Alternative English (Arts), Alternative English (Commerce), Modern Indian Language (Arts and Commerce) and English-II (for English Honours students).
The LLB theory examination for Labour Law-II has also been postponed due to the same reason.
NEHU also said that a fresh date for the examinations will be announced shortly.
Meanwhile, all schools and colleges in West Jaintia Hills will remain closed tomorrow due to the prevailing weather condition.
Similarly, all government and private schools, colleges and educational institutions in East Jaintia Hills will remain closed tomorrow in view of the continued incessant rainfall and strong winds in the district.
