Newly joined Director General of Police (DGP) Idashisha Nongrang would be available every Thursday to meet the public “to address any pertinent issues or grievances”.
In a public notice issued today, the State Police said that Nongrang would begin her meeting with the public from May 30 onwards.
According to the notice, the meeting will be held every Thursday from 11 am to 2 pm at the DGP’s office here.
Registration of names will be accepted at the Police Headquarters gate from 10 am to 11:45 am.
“We encourage all citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss their concerns directly with the DGP,” the notice said.
