The Indian Meteorological Department has issued another weather warning for Meghalaya for Friday.
Winds can be expected to reach up to 50kmph with thunderstorms and lightning. Heavy rain is predicted in parts of East Khasi Hills and East Jaiñtia Hills as well. The severe weather is due to a cyclonic circulation over northern Bangladesh and eastern Assam.
There was only light to moderate rain in the state today.
