A senior resident radiologist at the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Science (NEIGRIHMS), Dr Humsheer Singh Sethi has been awarded the prestigious fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology (FRCR) by the Royal College of Radiology (RCR) in London.
Dr Sethi is among a select few radiologists internationally to receive the fellowship.
The FRCR examinations are recognized as one of the top three most challenging fellowship exams globally and are typically awarded to radiologists practicing in the United Kingdom. The FRCR signifies the highest level of expertise in diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Sethi underwent a rigorous and demanding training program adhering to the Royal College’s stringent standards over a two-year period.
Demonstrating exceptional dedication, Dr. Sethi has chosen to forgo opportunities to work in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and is committed to serving the people of Meghalaya at NEIGRIHMS.
Medical Superintendent and Head of the Department of Radiodiagnosis Prof. C Daniala said “this accomplishment reflects not only Dr. Sethi’s personal commitment to excellence but also the high standards of training and education provided at NEIGRIHMS.
