Around 40 members of the Congress and UDP from Nongstoin constituency today joined the Voice of the People Party (VPP) at a function held at the party’s office at Nongkrem.
Prominent among those who joined the VPP include Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Goldenstar Nonglong.
The new entrants were welcomed into the party by VPP president Ardent M. Basaiawmoit in the presence of all party MLAs and several party leaders.
