The GST collection in Meghalaya during the month of December 2023 was Rs 171 crore.
According to the Finance Ministry, in December 2022 also, the GST collection was Rs 171 crore.
Thus in terms of year-on-year growth, the collection was of similar amount.
As far as pre-settlement SGST with Meghalaya is concerned, in 2023-24, the amount was Rs 438 crore while in 2022-23, it was Rs 339 crore. This is a growth of 29 per cent.
The post-settlement amount in 2023-24 was Rs 1244 crore while in 2022-23 it was Rs 1087 crore. This is growth of 14 per cent.
