The KVK Ri-Bhoi today organised a programme to celebrate Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, a day to recognise tribal freedom fighters.
In addition, the event also marked the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme, a central government programme to reach out to the people, and live-streamed the PM KISAN programme.
The event was attended by 20 farmers from Thadnongiaw and Mawbri villages.
Afterwards, a training lecture was delivered by Moloy Sarmah Baruah and Meghna Sarma on the topic ‘Integrated Farming System’.
